His Dark Materials AU. The electrum spyglass gives Carlos and his team a lot of power, and the Sheriff's secret police are not happy about it. Can our heroes work out a deal? Only if they can make it through a high-speed car chase, another team member dragged off for re-education, and a municipally-mandated amount of blood loss and chanting.
