His Dark Materials AU. Carlos offers to do a favor for Cecil, and finds himself stuck with babysitting for the recently re-educated. In the process he meets a few new faces, including (at last!) Cecil's daemon...and ends up having to mount a hasty defense against wheat. (And its by-products.)
