Let's play the Hypothetical Crossover game! Name any two (or more) fandoms you know I'm familiar with, and I will tell you how I would, hypothetically, cross them over!
Anything from this journal tag list or my dA gallery is fair game ^_^

...okay, that was easy since I already did it, but feel free to ask for another!

Jon and Stephen run a popular radio show that mocks news and politics. Stephen's ethnically Earth; Jon's half Earth, half Water, and could probably do a little Waterbending if you asked nicely; both of them grew up in Republic areas. Olivia grew up Water Tribe, then moved to Republic City to do comedy. John Oliver is ethnically Fire, and a direct descendant of members of the military who tried to take over the world, but he really is awfully sorry about that. Aasif's half Fire, half Water.
Jon keeps landing surprisingly serious interviews with high-ranking councilmembers. Tenzin refuses to pay it any attention for ages, but finally gives in, and their conversation runs so long that it pre-empts half of the next program.
Stephen is Deeply Conflicted a lot lately. He wants to throw his wholehearted support behind the Equalists and their wonderful anti-privilege movement...but on the other hand, the Avatar seems so nice! Also she's female and ethnically Water, not to mention her last incarnation was ethnically Air and the single survivor of genocide, and he can't figure out how many Oppression Olympics points that should earn her.
I can't decide if Jessica Williams should get to actually be the Avatar in this crossover, or just be Korra's childhood BFF.

Stephen has to be a bender though because how else is he gonna work himself up in knots of self-hatred and seven layers of social-justice logic, also angst about how he feels like it is his duty to voluntarily have his bending taken away except that he would no sooner do that than cut off one of his limbs etc

So finally Jon bursts out at him about how it is not his duty, he should use what he's got for good rather than throw it away out of a misplaced sense of guilt, because if he did that, what's next, voluntarily snapping his spinal cord because some people in the world are paraplegics?
And then Stephen gets uncomfortably silent and still, and it goes on for way too long, until Jon refuses to let him leave before extracting his solemn promise not to purposely render himself any differently abled.

Where's Waldo/Magic School Bus, please!

Epic series of illustrations, each corresponding to one of the MSB books or TV episodes, with the eight main kids, Liz, the Bus, Waldo, and Ms. Frizzle hidden somewhere in each. Some of them involve Waldo and the Frizz making out, just because. Carmen Sandiego's also tucked away in one of them, but I'm not saying which.

...although now I want these illustrations. or at least the making-out pictures. (I always kind of wished the Waldo illustrations were more educational, anyway...)

Given how well the Doctor Who/Grinch thing came out, I'm sure you could produce a Waldo-style spread or two...
