"You've put me through a lot of headaches over the past few days, Stephen. How did you think you were going to make it up to me?" Rounding the desk, Jon crooked a finger under Stephen's tie and tugged.

That's the slightly-censored version of the closing credits. You can download the uncut version here.

Date: 2008-07-03 04:22 am (UTC)Okay, that's adorable. I use that word a lot when commenting on your works, but that's just because you've perfected adorable!"Stephen". Your stuff always makes my heart melt ♥
The fact that it's wrist violence that prompts him to say his safe-word (and that his safe-word is 'Applebee's') is perfect. Great attention to detail.

Date: 2008-07-03 05:58 am (UTC)No amount of praise can equal the greatness of this fic. It's not a great fic... It's the GREATEST fic, so I'll just say this: I have read many, many fics in my lifetime, and in my opinion, this is the best I've ever read. Humor, suspense, surprise..... oh wow, this was... I just can't believe it's over.
I wish we could make little plushie dolls out of your artwork. You drew such great drawings.....fantastic
Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us. :)

Date: 2008-07-03 12:50 pm (UTC)LOVE.
SHEER UNADULTERATED LOVE.
(And yippee, lip-reading came in USEFUL!)
Also, I can't believe someone other than me remembers Aqua. That song's going to be in my head for a week now. Thanks.
(The uncut version is downloading ridiculously slowly due to other stuff I have running on this machine, so I'll have to watch that later.)

Date: 2008-07-03 01:06 pm (UTC)(I was wondering how well I'd pulled that off...)
For adding more Aqua to your life, madam, you are welcome.
(I hope you'll enjoy it!)

Date: 2008-07-03 06:47 pm (UTC)you really nailed their expressions, I admire an artist who can do that :3
now I feel like reading it all over again, but for the future, how does one go about adding things to your 'memories' on LJ? I'll check the FAQ, but I'd be glad for any help =D

Date: 2008-07-03 08:45 pm (UTC)OMG AWW STEPHEN. You are so cute and squishable.
(Like others, I love their safeword. =P)
I also love Jon's doubts about if he can do this, and why Stephen wants him, and then Stephen's response...gah, I just want to hug the both of them for being so goddamn adorable. I'm sure their level of adorableness is illegal. It's probably putting kittens out of work!
Such a fun, cute story this was. Brava.

And you already know how I feel about reluctant!dom!Jon. I'm just glad I could distill the adorableness into comic format.
Thank you!

Date: 2008-07-09 03:35 am (UTC)This whole story is unbelievably cute and brilliant! You win the internet oscar for multimedia extravaganzas. :D
(OMG, the bonus scene. *dies laughing*)

Date: 2008-12-18 11:11 pm (UTC)Oh, and since I downloaded your vid 'The Girl All The Bad Guys Want' while I was reading this, I'll just feedback here at the same time...
OH MY GOD. I watched it thrice in a row because it filled me with such joy. The clips of the fishnets and dreadlock alone (how did the stars align so perfectly?). And the music just gave it this lovely serious edge. It wasn't parody anymore, it really was a love story.
Anyway, fabulous, wonderful work.

Date: 2008-12-19 01:10 am (UTC)Clearly I have too much footage of Jon Stewart lying around. Which in that vid, at least, was an advantage. And, you know . . . why can't it be both parody and a love story? Those are sometimes my favorite kind.
♥!

Date: 2009-01-05 06:12 pm (UTC)I followed the link to the ending video on dailymotions, and thats how I found this comic. I'm a little late, but it was awesome and pure joy to read and watch. Thanks for sharing, great job.

Date: 2009-01-05 09:04 pm (UTC)Awesome
Date: 2009-05-10 06:24 pm (UTC)(By the way, this absolutely makes me want to watch the Birdman series. XD And from the little clip you posted with Reducto (the "perfectly miniature" one) I'm in love with that little guy.)
And the ending you gave the Ambiguously Gay Duo was just perfect, but everybody said that already anyway.
By the way, on your The Zen and the Damaged site, the links to "Stephen"'s character analysis both don't work and it really sounds like something I would like to read.

And the links are fixed - thanks for the heads-up =)
Re: Awesome
Date: 2009-05-13 11:23 pm (UTC)And can I ask you a completely unrelated question I haven't been able to find an answer too. You obviously know very much about both TDS and TCR.
I've seen (and downloaded) that infamous picture with Jon and the pink princess dress, but I'm dying to know what was that actually about. The pic is popping up all over the place in user icons, but I can't find anything about when or why Jon did it.
I'm really curious, if asked in a forum before, but got no answer.
