Somehow I don't think Stephen would wear orange anyway, so I suspect he's safe. (Although I was looking back at Stephen's "undercover disguise" in America: The Book recently, and he's wearing a leather band on his right arm...which, if I understand malesubart correctly, means he's flagging as a sub. So perhaps he understands this better than we realize.)
