Fake News: The Thing With Feathers

Title: The Thing With Feathers
Series: The Daily Show/The Colbert Report
Genre: Drama
Rating: Through PG-13
Words: ~28,400
Disclaimers: Found on individual chapters. In short, not real, and not mine.

Stephen hasn't been himself lately.

This is an idea that I've been toying with for some time. The title has a couple of layers of meaning, as you will see.

“Hope” is the thing with feathers—
That perches in the soul—

*is spamming you sorry*

A soundtrack ?? Hi, music freak here. The I-have-all-the-production-music-used-for-TCR-graphics kind of music freak, even.
So as you can guess, I can't wait especially for that.
(you make me say "I can't wait" too much though, it's losing its force)

I am so dying from the excitement, I can't wait to read the rest, this is a very well written story, and I am loving it. ^_^ It makes you connect with the characters better than ANY Colbert/Daily Show short story I've read so far.

Wow. I can't believe I didn't go and read this story sooner.

I loved it! I wish I could be more eloquent about it. I'm a sucker for multiverses, and I love how everybody is real and human. Just. Wow.

I'm [livejournal.com profile] ulop, by the way.

Love this story!

A friend of mine on LJ told me about this story, and it's "awesomeness"...

So- I read it and I have to say... "Awesomeness" is ooo not the word!

This is one the best fanfics I have EVER read! Love it! Love it! Love it!

Um. Wow.

Stephen and Jon were cool and interesting and everything, but "Stephen" and "Jon" were so nuanced and flawed that I actually fond them more involving.

In summation: You're amazing.

One: I absorbed this all soundtrack, entire fic, trailers, comics, and small sequels in the matter of one day.

Two: I don't think I've ever laughed, cried, or felt that much for a fic in a long time.

Three: I am impressed, obsessed and overall giddy at just how wonderfully pieced this was.

Four: I think I fell in love with the concept of alternate universes that much harder.

Five: I will now pursue the rest of your fics with great pleasure and will in fact recommend you for any newbie like myself in this fandom.

Six: ♥♥♥!!!

*LOVE* Very, very *LOVE*.

The characterization, the writing, the pacing, the amazingness . . . it's def'ly on the favorite fics list now.

This fic is awesome. It is made of awesome and win and chocolate and kitties and puppies and rainbows and --

Okay, I just read this and the sequel( which was win in and of itself, mainly because of the LOTR one) and I am absolutely in love with this story and your writing I did not say you, because that might have freaked you out ;)]. All of it was absolutely fantastic! Your characterization was absolutely amazing, and the part where 'Real' Stephen realized that in 'Fake' Stephen's world, he didn't have a family? Absolutely heartrendingly awesome.
