His Dark Materials AU. Something is very, very wrong in Desert Bluffs...and there may be nothing Carlos can do about it. Back in Night Vale, Cecil drinks to forget; Steve leaves Carlos a task before getting yanked off for re-education; and Carlos experiments with the power of prayer.
Featuring revelations of recent character death, and some school bullying.
New art: Carlos and family; Northern Lights AU. And chess_ka drew agitated Cecil and Khoshekh from the last chapter <3
Also, chapters have titles now! To make the question of "wait, which chapter was the one where this and that happened...?" a little easier (possibly for you, definitely for me).
