His Dark Materials AU. In the last few weeks before Carlos' team split up for Christmas vacation, they get an unexpected present from their colleagues in the next town over. And the Apache Tracker is unhappy about something, although Carlos doesn't speak Muscovite and doesn't want to talk to that racist jerk anyway, so the details are a mystery.
