Wow, let me tell you my life story. XD

*laugh* Leave it to me to need a clue-by-four to figure out what I am. And honestly, I'm still trying to figure it out. I usually tend to just aim for androgyny and let people decide on their own which they prefer to see me as. (So in answer to your question about pronouns, go with whatever works for you.) The only time I'm really insulted at being called a girl is when I'm making an effort to be perceived as male specifically.

*nod* I can understand that. I've always had a general sense of "I should be/want/feel [insert blank] because that's the way it is" that I, for a great many years, attempted to follow. I shouldn't have awkward dreams about my best friend, I should want to date guys, I should be interested in makeup as more than something to wear with costumes, I shouldn't be so thrilled that someone couldn't tell if I was male or female, etcetera. Buuut then I grew up and, as with most things in my life, I decided "Screw it, I'll do what feels right for me." (Admittedly, this does not include telling my parents, but for crying out loud, I wore a suit and tie to my uncle's funeral. I figure I'm easing them into the idea.) I still suck at figuring things out sometimes, but I figure with time and experience I'll eventually get it all sorted. ^_^

Also, I envy Stephen getting to reinvent himself like that. I'm not sure I'd have the balls. *laugh*
