I KNEW IT! I knew it was Athena, right from the owl and the gold shirt! *dances* My most favorite fictional deity evar. It's a good thing she's watching over the guys, and her bit at the end was cool. I have to read Candide now. XP

"Stephen" and "Jon's" bit made me smile. Not the maniacal kind, but the deeply satisfied kind. It's nice to see that "Jon" is finally being assertive, and "Stephen" finally loosening up to him.

When he pulled away, he opened his eyes to find Stephen's staring back at him, round and brown and stunned and wildly hopeful. It was, he decided, a look that he wanted to see more often.

"I'm going to do that again," he said, because being assertive was working pretty well so far; and then, because old habits die hard, he added, "if you don't mind."

Stephen threw aside the section of print in his hands and pulled Jon forward, legs shooting out and sweeping the rest of the newspapers off of the bed in one smooth motion; and from there he proceeded to make it perfectly clear that no, he did not mind in the least.

My favorite part, because it kicks so much ass.

The very last bit made me so happy and giddy. This had been such a good and emotionally fueled story. It was full of twists and turns, and, although I didn't like a few parts of it (mostly because I thought it didn't fit the structure of the mentality of the chapter), it still pulled through the flaws and...Can I share this with my classmates and drive them insane? Again? Please?!?

I have to download the episode and the podcast of the LK interview now. Cheerio! (God, I feel incompetent next to you and gaiafaye now. T.T;)
