Seamus can't ever remember buying any of it; he just thinks the building is pretty.
lol I wasn't even raised Catholic (80% of my country are, though, so you can't help but pick up a lot by default), but that's pretty much my relationship with Catholicism.

Also I really enjoyed the analysis of Seamus' family life. It's not that we really learn something new there, but the way he experienced it and the way he puts it now feel just right. And, of course, the doll metaphor works so perfectly--their perfect underwear, their untouchability...
Come to think of it, it would be really interesting to explore what exactly Chuck sees in them. His degree of obsession clearly shows that it's much more than some random hobby that prevents him from spending time with his family (it's also interesting how openly Chuck obsesses about something so 'unmanly').
Yes, I definitely think there is much to explore. And I guess it would have something to do with the fact that "we all want to be prom queen, Jerri."
