I touched on the strange autonomy of the God Machine in Expecting; it's like the bullet, with a mind of its own (although the bullet in this version of the world is just automated; the Expectingverse bullet, and the one we see, isn't). But I knew I wanted to do more with it.
"Who writes the writers" -- that's an excellent way to put it. It was a fun scene to write (especially when they start talking about me, and by golly they're right).
As for what happened -- you shall see!
