Best chapter ever? I'm prone to decare it so. [With the exception of a lost chapter I read once about a wasp in a wig. But that's not really the same breed of writing.] Seriously, love, the illustrations are absolutely vibrant with warm, the threads tying themselves up make a natural sense and I know it must have been Charlene from the moment she appeared. [And, for some reason, I'm picturing Charlene as a cross between Raven and Amy circa E57.] I feel like everything happening as it did was happy and pleasing, but not forced. Bobby&Tad ran their course and stayed true to their characterization as much as Jon&Stephen did. This whole series has been an enjoyable read full of nice allusions, but this chapter especially had me smiling to myself a great deal. Little touches, like hugging a plastic truck or a hint to Anderson&Keith, make my day.
