Oh, my. I just adore this line. It's so sweet and innocently romantic. I think that's what I love so much about this story, the sweetness and heart that you've brought through in every chapter. I'm dying to read the conclusion, but I hate to see it end.

George William Colbert didn't smile back, or blink, or indeed have any reaction at all.
