Ever since I saw the original segments, I wanted to write a story that figured out why Jon was such a jerk in them. Specifically, what was bothering him, and why he was taking it out on poor Oliver.

This doesn't really answer the question with relation to the "base" TDS/TCR 'verse, but by golly I shall have my answers in this AU. (And yes, Stephen is a baaaad influence. Jon is a tangled mess of conflicting emotions, but he doesn't realize it because next to Stephen he looks incredibly well-adjusted.)

My OTP remains Wilmore/Oliver (Investigates!), so there won't be too much Rob/John in the future. On the Lewis count, however, I aim not to disappoint =D
