The setup: Jon and two-year-old Nate are at some kind of parenting get-together, and they've passed out snacks. Let's say cupcakes.

So Nate hasn't started eating yet, and then this cute little girl walks up and takes his cupcake. Just -- yoink! -- takes it and walks away.

Little Nate is stunned. Too shocked to be mad. As Jon describes it, "It's like he didn't even realize that was an outcome."

And then he looks up at Jon, and his eyes are just filled with tears.

And Jon thinks, "I'm going to have to kill this little girl."

(Pause for audience laughter.)

"And I don't want to! I'm sure she's a very sweet little girl! But she made my son's eyes water. And I cannot have that on my watch."

Your point about parenting is well taken. I feel better about Jon's decision now.
