Awwwwwwwwww. I loved this. Very much so. I felt really bad for Jon and Stephen, with some of the stuff they had to put up with. But Jon had some great comebacks ("Well, I do get a lot of practice pounding things. As I'm sure you can imagine."...oh, my god, Jon!), and the banter between him and Stephen was perfect. Even in an alternate universe their voices really shone through.

I love the look AU Stephen is sporting in this story, too, man, I would kill to see this. And the ending was very hopeful. I was sitting here quietly cheering along.

Also, the scene with the ice was hot (and made me wish I were in Jon's place because, yeah, it's hot here right now, too).

The work shows in this easily, it was fantastic and I really enjoyed reading it. Well done.
