Okay, so this was such a great quirky, sad, lovely story.
At first, when the symptoms were described I thought of shingles (because of my own sorry state the past two weeks) and I cringed and felt so bad. I kept screaming in my head, "oh god, poor baby!"
You just make it so hard to read your Stephen as a grown man. He's such an adorable child-like figure it's too cute not to read him as an actual child.
