You may want to edit that out of your post as it is spoilerific (I will check back and if you do, edit this response) but I must say I was hoping that's what it'd be! I'm sure she will have a legacy to rival that of Princesses Leia, Lucy, and Mononoke combined.
I don't doubt that Stephen would rather be back in a situation where it was okay for anyone to hurt him than have to deal with accepting responsibility for Jon's pain right now. I'm hopeful that Tad and Amy will be supportive if/when he returns to Jon.
I know! That's the whole problem, the war between what is morally right and what is emotionally selfish. Stephen is lucky that Jon is such a good man because I'm sure you're right and it will be that much more rewarding if/when Stephen comes back on his own terms. Still... I'm only human:) A less morally righteous human than Jon, especially when it comes to fictional worlds and unrighteous ideas of a Sir Jon with a pet Stephen. *returns to senses* Yes, yes I'm sure it's for the best ¬_¬
I had a feeling that a charred ship may be the least of her concerns considering her feelings toward the melodramatic ^-^
