I can tell you one thing: the next chapter's looooong ^_^;

The world can always use more magical fempreg fire babies! That was the prophecy, by the way -- that one Lisa Olivia Munn would carry a mage's baby in defiance of biology. (Who would then go on to...oh, bring balance to the Force, or something. All Olivia cares about is that it's her and Kristen's baby girl.)

Stephen is rolling in guilt throughout the chapter. He's getting a really intense demonstration of the power free people have to hurt each other, which is part of the reason why (as real!Stephen said at that event you went to) "the idea of having someone else just tell him what to do and obey was appealing." Someone's going to hurt no matter what he does, but at least if he commits to being Jon's pet, the hurt felt by Tad and Amy wouldn't be his fault. (Or so he thinks.)

Jon giving into his selfish urges at this stage could only have led to an emotional trainwreck for both of them. This is the kind of situation the phrase "if you love somebody, set them free" was coined for. So be proud! It was hard to fight those desires in the moment, even knowing he would have regretted them down the line.

As far as accidental-ship-burning-up goes, Allison's through the worst of it. Can't make any promises about the personality drama, I'm afraid...
