The Interview came before the SoG rewrite, yes =)

Stevie's definitely up to twelve or so here (while George is around five). He matures to that age and then basically stabilizes there. Tyrone gets paid to babysit -- Stephen thinks it's a racket, but it helps Tyrone feel validated and like his compromises are appreciated, which gives him the motivation he needs to do the job well in the first place.

Jon's position is stepfatherish, yes: he has authority, but Stephen always has the final say, even when that say is "I defer to your idea." Charlene's position is similar; she has a lot of effective authority when George is younger because she has to make lots of decisions in realtime without stopping to call Stephen for advice, but as the years go on she starts to travel more and directly raise him less. Tracey is like a close aunt: she comes to think of him as family, but not her responsibility if one of his parents is in the room.

Stephen adores those movies :D (Cf: his reaction to Nights in Rodanthe.)

It's definitely weird for Jon, though it's one of those things that works as long as he navigates by instinct and doesn't stop to overthink it. Stevie isn't sexual at all, and that comes across in his body language, so Jon's rarely inspired to sexy thoughts about the body while he's out. And the system is pretty good at keeping Stevie away from sexual experiences themselves, though he does know what sex is, and who's sleeping with who.

Tyrone sleeps with Jon only when Stephen is co-fronting. Eventually they get the hang of blending during sex, which works great for them, though it confuses Jon to no end.

Changed the wording of the confusing passage -- I hope it's a bit better now. The idea is that when Stephen&co. show signs of feeling lonely and shut out of Jon's life, Jon figures George might be in a similar mood, just less capable of expressing it.

George will take over the world with cuteness one day :D

So glad you liked it!
