Okay, let me first SQUEEEEEEEEEEE about new fic in the SOG-verse. It's one of my favorite of your universes. Established relationship, family, domestic arrangements, every day life, career, kids, sex, growing older = perfect mix of my favorite things in fic. And baby!George = <3<3<3

I stay away from the other Expecting-verse stories because I don't want to know what happens. And I think you wrote the Interview before you wrote SoG, because Stephen's a bit different there.

Anyway, I ramble! On to the story.

I love the title; I hope Jon doesn't require open heart surgery. From relatives who've had heart attacks, they're quite painful. Let's hope he gets morphine. :-)

hould've had them sooner, he admonished himself, only half kidding. Then maybe you wouldn't be too decrepit to keep up with them.

So true. He did have them rather late, and this sounds like such a thing Jon would say.

I love Tyrone babysitting George. He can be rather nice, when he's in that mood. And Stevie being all admonishing. I imagine Stevie to have gotten a bit older; twelve, or so. He seems more mature.

I wonder: does Jon have a step-father role or a primary parent role? Does he view George exactly the same way he views Nate and Maggie? And where does Charlene and Tracey fit in?

"Here," he said, thrusting his iPad at Jon. "Hospitals are boring. You're going to need this. It has Scrabble that's been hacked so the computer doesn't know how to spell, and bookmarks to all the most edifying conservative websites, and a whole bunch of movies in which strong women who've been hurt in the past learn to find love again. Since I can't go with you, it's the next best thing."

Awww, trust Stephen to show concern in the oddest way. Is it he who likes movies about strong, scorned women learning to love again, or one of the alters?

I love Olivia here. And how protective Stephen is of George. It's hard to imagine George as a toddler, after him being a baby for so much of the series.

As Stevie, he was fine with anything as long as he got his quiet moments with Jon.

This is cute. It must be strange for Jon though to be father-figure to a kid who is using a body Jon has sex with. I wonder how much of Tyrone's and Stephen's "adult lives" Stevie knows (or cares) about.

Speaking of which, does Stephen let Tyrone sleep with Jon? Or is he too jealous?

Jon accepted it, reluctantly, when Stephen swore they were okay. But Stephen noticed that he always made a point of spending more time with George the day after.</>

This is unclear: the day after what? And why would Jon want to spend more time with George that day?

"Are you dying?" said George, breathless, as Stephen deposited him on the side of the gurney.

Oh man, I'm imagining George being just cute as a button; full emotional range and all.

"See you in health!"- LOL. What a cute ending.
