Is Jon triggering something? Even on a subconscious level?
Really poingant. I love the flailing and moral difficulties with Jon and Evei - very realistic and understated.
Also, strangely enough, the line that really broke *my* heart was when Jon introduced himself as Stephen's Jewish friend. I don't know why. I guess it felt so - so *reconciled* to how much "stephen" dismissed him, and because the usual fandom description of their relationship would be *best* friends, and Jon didn't feel, I don't know, brave or entitled or sure enough to use it.
