Profiles and information about the Xyll system's five planetary senshi, better known as the princesses of their respective kingdoms. (Well, one of the "kingdoms" is post-revolution and another got the planet blown up under it, but you get the general idea.)

Ages are in Earth years, because it was easier than trying to calculate individual sidereal periods for each of the planets, or working out another standard scale to which everyone in the system would adhere to. Birthdays are also in Earth dates, and were chosen to line up with the personality-relevant Earth zodiac signs. In retrospect, I really wish I had made up a Xyllian zodiac and stuck that on the profiles instead.

Sailor Dido's attack is one used by Sailor Jupiter in the manga. That's deliberate. Jupiter learned it from her.

The princesses' first-gen designs all had mundane common-English names. Their designs here have basically the same names with -ity tacked on the end. (Guess which one is the self-insert. No, go on. Guess.)

Sailor Rhea

The Lapine Sailor

Name: Princess Bunnifity Rose Lobelia (called Rose)
Birthday: April 17 (Earth date)
Age: Thirteen (Earth years)
Blood type: B
Fav. foods: Rice, cheese, rabbit, sugar candy
Likes: Playing with dolls, pretending to be queen, singing, drawing
Dislikes: Math and science, boys, sour candy

Personality: Rose is a cheerful and kind girl, very innocent, very good at making friends. When she becomes a sailor soldier, her untapped resourcefulness and strength begin to develop. Although she has been known to cry often, Rose is pretty good at keeping a stiff upper lip until the moment is right. Her dream of being as good a queen as her mother was shattered, and for the same reason she's been forced to be more grown-up than the usual pampered Rheaiite princess, which is hard but she's taking it well. She's a good girl, and although she's the least likely leader, her fellow princesses will always stand beside her.

Family: Rose has no siblings and her father was killed in the long-ago Asgard War, an attack on another system by Metallia. Her mother is Cybele Lobelia, a wise but caring woman who loves children, particularly Rose. Cybele is an influential peacekeeper and guardian of the Hoshizuishou (Star Crystal), the powerful protective crystal of the Xyll System. Rose stands in awe of her mother but never in envy of her.

History: Rose grew up as the crown princess in the ruling planet of her star system, and all that that implies. She's been treated well all her life, grown up alongside the children of her mother's council, and been tutored in all subjects by the very best.

Dream: To reunite the torn Xyll system and be a good queen.

Henshin: Rhea Crystal Power, Make Up! Rose holds up her henshin crystal, from which pink ribbons extend. She starts to spin, and they wrap around her. Then the ribbons explode in a puff of grey smoke which dissipates in thin swirls, leaving her sailor fuku.

Henshin item: The largest piece of the Star Crystal

Attacks: Dust Bunnies Hop! Sailor Rhea crosses her arms and puts her hands on her hair clips, then makes a pulling motion and releases a flood of fluffy grey rabbits.
Dust Bunnies Fog! Variation which creates a fog similar to Shabon Spray.
Dust Bunnies Fly! Variation which is much stronger.

Sailor Dido

The Floral Sailor

Name: Princess Florenity Elissa Acerbas
Birthday: February 24 (Earth date)
Age: Fourteen (Earth years)
Blood type: AB
Fav. foods: Honey, fruit, pie
Likes: Playing her flute, painting, growing flowers
Dislikes: History, destruction of the environment, her brother

Personality: Although quiet and sensitive, Florenity is a friendly person and a loyal companion. She is sometimes hesitant to use her powers as a sailor soldier, but when she wields it properly her attack is second only to Helenity's. Florenity loves flowers and gardening - as is only natural considering her planet's heritage steeped in flora - and enjoys painting the flowers she's nurtured.

Family: Florenity has a brother and a father; her mother is dead. Her father, Lycus, is not the greatest king; he is a good person but has no head for ruling a kingdom. Her brother is a spoiled brat who will probably never amount to anything; in the large palace of Dido, Florenity has little contact with either one.

History: Florenity grew up in the palace of Dido as a traditionally pampered princess; however, this has not turned her snobbish or overbearing. She was taught everything she could be taught about everything from flute playing to literature to gardening, but sheltered from the reality of politics and the social/economic state of her planet. Although she has met all the other princesses at one time or another, Florenity is closest to Jennifity, with whom she often played when they were younger.

Dream: To rule her planet wisely and well

Henshin: Dido Crystal Power, Make Up! Florenity holds up her henshin crystal and a tornado of flowers rises from her feet. As she spins with the tornado, the flowers thicken until she is completely encased. They then whirl away from her sailor fuku.

Attack: Flower Hurricane! Sailor Dido holds out her hands and a blast of multicolored flowers shoots from them, hitting her target with impressive force.

Colors: Purple and pink

Sailor Hestia

The Starfire Sailor

Name: Princess Helenity Dionysus
Birthday: February 25 (Earth date)
Age: Seventeen (Earth years)
Blood type: A
Fav. foods: Spicy stuff, pancakes
Likes: Her fellow pilots in the Alpha squad; flying planes; kicking tail
Dislikes: Playing pretty little princess for nobles and diplomats; her mother

Personality: Helenity is cheerful, often optimistic, and although not really a tomboy, has a wild streak that just won't quit. She's very determined; once she sets her heart on something, she won't give up on it. She's independent and a fierce fighter, but she does have a calmer side; having younger girls around brings out her mothering instincts.

Family: Helenity's mother dislikes her wild streak, having been a relatively quiet child and believing that a princess should be proper and mild. When Helenity was young they chafed constantly; now they rarely speak, and only see each other when Helenity is obliged to come to some formal event.

History: Helenity began sneaking out of the palace as soon as she was old enough to be given some independence. She was fascinated by the fighter pilots, the fighters being her planet's main army, and of course it wasn't long before she tied her hair up behind a helmet and joined them. Juggling practices with palace life was tricky, but Helentiy was determined and eventually was promoted to the Alpha squad, the most elite fighters in the entire system.

Dream: To defend her planet as leader of a fighter plane squadron

Henshin: Hestia Crystal Power, Make Up! Helenity holds up her henshin crystal and a blaze of blue-white fire erupts under her, completely enveloping her. After a moment or so it fades to reveal her sailor fuku.

Henshin item: One of the points of the Star Crystal

Attacks: Hopeful Blaze! Sailor Hestia puts her hands together (a la Sailor Mars) and shoots a blast of white-hot blue flame at her target.

Colors: Teal and green

Sailor Antigone

The Topaz Sailor

Name: Princess Jennifity "Jen" Iphigenia Creon
Birthday: July 30th (Earth date)
Age: Fifteen (Earth years)
Blood type: A
Fav. foods: Peanuts, waffles
Likes: Cutting, polishing, and setting precious stones; swimming
Dislikes: Teachers, her 'princessly duties', hot weather

Personality: Jennifity is strong-willed and stubborn. She's always tried to be her own person, independent of her royal identity. Nevertheless, she is very much a model Antigonese citizen in that she has a thing for jewels and precious stones and likes a chilly climate. She's rather witty and clever, although she often expresses this in the form of sarcasm. Also, Jen is fiercely protective of her friends.

Family: Jennifity is the last living member of her family; the rest of them died in the siege of Antigonese War I. She had a set of fairly nice parents, a few brothers, and a younger sister. All of them are most definitely dead, deceased, gone, in the Big Jewel Box in the Sky, as they say on that planet. There is no chance that any of them are secretly alive and 'out there' waiting for a tearful reunion or bitter feud with Jen. So if you were speculationg on that, forget it!

History: The royal council rescued Jen from the siege on the palace when civil war broke out. It all sounds very dramatic and glamorous, but then real life set in: the revolution ended with the planet split, Jen ended up in the half that supported her, and she grew up with teachers in place of parents. Not the greatest life. She's met all the other princesses before in diplomatic settings, but Florenity is the only one she'd actually become friends with, and her only childhood friend.

Dream: To get a quiet little job as a jeweler or something else that interests her

Henshin: Antigone Crystal Power, Make Up! Jennifity holds up her henshin crystal and a column of topaz rises from her feet, surrounding her in golden-yellow crystal. Then the crystal shatters and her earrings glitter; she is in her sailor fuku.

Attack: Gem Encrustation! Sailor Antigone encases her target in a sheath of gold crystal that is impossible to break without magical power.

Colors: Yellow and blue

Sailor Chronos

Name: Princess Aeriannity
Planet: Chronos
Birthday: October 16 (Earth date)
Age: Twelve if alive (Earth years)
Background: Chronos was demolished in the prologue to the Xyll saga and its queen killed. It is uncertain if Sailor Chronos is even alive, as she went missing at a young age.
Colors: Orange and gold

Ah, the mysterious Sailor Chronos. Her planet is said to hold the powers of Space, just as Pluto holds the powers of Time. However, that power may be lost forever: Chronos is gone and the last of the royal bloodline is presumed dead. But, as is often the case in the world of Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, things are not always what they seem...
