Title: Hagiography (II)
Rating: NC-17
Characters/Pairings: OC/"Stephen", Jon/Tracey
Warnings: Everything from previous parts, now with extra violence and (skip) character death
Beta: [personal profile] sarcasticsra
Disclaimer: #NotIntendedToBeAFactualStatement. The fictional characters are fictional, not mine, and used with love, not profit.

The long-awaited climax of the Green & Gray 'verse. (If your memories of previous installments have gotten fuzzy and you were thinking of doing a reread, now would be the time.)

In which Jon swoops in and carries Stephen to safety under cover of night. At least, that was the plan.

'Is there anything else you absolutely need?' )

Fandom: The Colbert Report
Subject: OC/"Stephen"
Warnings: Abusive relationship; language; all kinds of darkness.
Title: You Were Not Mine To Save

The second mix for Stephen's relationship in these stories. In which Stephen falls apart, and Jon struggles with the realization that it's not his place to fix it.

Goes farther than the currently posted stories, diving all the way to rock bottom and clawing its way back up again.

Fandom: The Colbert Report
Subject: OC/"Stephen"
Contents: Abusive BDSM relationship; darkness all around.
Title: The Weapon I Choose

The first of two mixes for the central pairing in these stories. In which Stephen falls in love, and is determined to hang on to that no matter what the self-destructive cost.

I hereby declare this the Merry Month of March Neglected Commentfic Roundup Week.

Kicking off with a ficlet written at the request of [personal profile] politicette, who wanted me to pair "Stephen" with someone other than Jon, such as, perhaps, the barista under his desk.

Title: Five Ways Stephen Reconciled His Faith And His Sexuality
Rating: PG
Characters/pairings: past "Stephen"/Jonathan; a cat named after Ronald Reagan; "Stephen"/Lorraine; OCs; P. K. Winsome; angel!Feist; Jon/"Stephen"
Contents: varying religious views; rapid tense shifts; lots of tears; mystic poetry. Emotional abuse in #2 (of the ex-gay flavor). Self-harm in #3 (of the canon flavor).
Two disclaimers, with love )

This follows an unclaimed [livejournal.com profile] lgbtfest prompt: "2575. RPF - Pundits, "Stephen Colbert"/Jon Stewart - Stephen struggles to reconcile his faith and his sexuality." The operative word here being "struggles."

The poem is translated by Coleman Barks in The Essential Rumi; full text can be found here. Shortly afterwards, Stephen quotes this treatise on sin by Richard Simpson.

Author's own religious views do not actually appear in this fic.

She's wearing silk, although not enough of it to stop smooth flesh from brushing against his neck, freshly washed and smelling like soap and lavender. Which means that if he values his spot on the mattress, he's going to spend the rest of the evening envisioning Daniel Craig's abs. )

Hands up if you saw this coming a mile away.

Five different ficlets based on the outline which Stephen's writers helpfully provided in last week's monologue. Detailed though it was, it's still marvelously open to interpretation. How much of it is literal? Who is the mysterious "Jonathan"? Is anyone else hungry for cupcakes with icing tuxedos now?

Title: State of Grace
Fandom: TCR
Genre: Drama
Rating: Through NC-17
Length: ~108,000 words (plus ~8,000 words of meta)
Warnings: Sex, not always good; triggers, trauma, flashbacks; dissociation, memory issues; background childhood abuse (physical, emotional) and neglect; background young-adult sexual abuse, drug use, compromised-consent sex work; background stalking; mental illness, panic attacks, suicidal ideation; mild language, some physical violence.
Disclaimer: The Report characters and their universe are property of Stephen Colbert, the other writers, and of course Viacom. Not mine. While this story also makes references to real persons and places, the dialogue, actions, and content are products of the author's imagination only. No fake newsmen were harmed in the making of this fic.

An excursus to Expecting (and, thus, part of the Expectingverse), taking place between its final chapter and epilogue. Described in comparison as "the emotional equivalent of jumping into a cold pool after soaking in the jacuzzi." Stephen has a new baby, a new marriage, and the love of a good man — so, naturally, this is when he starts to fall apart.

The current version of the story is a much-needed revision from the original, betaed by the painstaking and phenomenal [personal profile] stellar_dust. Title comes from the Billy Joel song.

Medium: Mix
Title: Tyrone Hunnibi (hypothetically)
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Sex, trauma, swearing, stuffed shorts, indecent things done to bananas.
Disclaimer: This is a work of parody. Although reference is made to real persons, the content is the product of the mixer's imagination only.

A mix for Stephen's flamboyant gay partygoing druggie pornstar side. Y'know, if he had one. Which he totally doesn't.

This preview cover is cropped; the whole thing isn't explicit, just slightly racy. (Short shorts, large bulge.) There's a slightly larger version of the artwork here. Fits into the continuity of State of Grace.

Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Talk of teenage sex.

Title: Kiss You Where It Hurts
Series: TDS/TCR
Rating: R
Warnings: Established (and unsavory) BDSM relationship; partial nudity; dubious consent issues; pain, suffering.
Two disclaimers, with love )

Summary: This is the really really depressing version of how character!Stephen hurt his face. Or, rather, it's the story of what happens afterwards, when Jon figures it out.

There's even an illustration, just to break your hearts a bit more. (Here on DA.) See the index page for the sequels.
