In honor of Halloween, have a bit more of the Eagle of Hermes 'verse, shortly after the attacks of '99. Jon's never done this before, so he's a little nervous. In trying to make it good for him, Stephen accidentally overdoes it on the hypnosis.

w_thit. Takes place in the Eagle of Hermes universe, some time in the early 2000s. The title continues with the whole Tempest-quoting theme it picked up.

( The flying is nice. That's something, at least. Rushing above the skyscrapers in a swarm of eyes and wings and radar-dish ears, or floating insubstantial down the streets and letting the city breathe him in and out. )

I like Bobby, he's underappreciated, and I wanted to play around in his head, so I came up with a one-shot about him. Then one day I was painting a house (it's a long story), which is monotonous work, and ended up plotting out a whole series.

In which Bobby manages the stage, the staff, and Stephen; the Report staff faces down a ghost; and we discover why the staff doesn't quit en masse, despite their boss' refusal to learn any valuable lessons.
