Charmed Lives | AO3 mirror
fluff, romance | Mami and friend, Kyoko and sister, Sayaka and parents, Homura/Madoka | through R
Post-series. It's a whole new world, and four girls get to grow up in it. (And, in Homura's case, have insubstantial shower sex in it.)

Five's Company | AO3 mirror
smut | Homura/Madoka/Sayaka/Kyouko/Mami | NC-17
Welcome to the AU where the main characters are legal adults, fighting side by side, and in a polyamorous fivesome. Have some shameless Madoka-centric PWP.

Five Things Scarier Than Demons | AO3 mirror
comedy, fluff | Mami/Kyoko, Homura, Charlotte, Yuma | G
There are some things even a puella magi can't face alone. (Post-series fluff.)

Five Wishes Madoka Made (and one she wished she had)
dramedy, angst | Homura/Madoka, Kyuubei, Mami, Sayaka, Tomohisa, Tatsuya, Anthony | PG-13
A treat written for Yuri Challenge. Saw the prompt (which is now the title) and couldn't resist.

Have Your Death And Eat Cake Too | AO3 mirror
romance | Kyoko/Sayaka, Yuma, Mami/Charlotte, Madoka/Homura, Madoka/everyone, ensemble | soft R
Kyoko's too much of a cynic to believe in paradise, which makes it a bit of a shock when she wakes up there.

Keepsake | AO3 mirror
angst | Kyoko/Sayaka, Homura | R
In which Sayaka is in a dark place, Kyouko is fighting to hang on to her, and neither is really in any shape to be sorting out her intense feelings about the other (but they make a connection anyway).

L'Estasi di Santa Homura
smut | Homura/Madoka | NC-17
Who needs a corporeal partner to have great sex? Not Teresa of Avila, and not Homura, either.

One More Shot...
smut, angst | Homura/Mami | NC-17
So this is mostly PWP, although there are allusions to Plot going on around it. From an AU where the heroines are aged up, for a prompt on [community profile] femslash_kink: "Mami/any, gunplay."

Persephone's Waltz
drama | Homura/Madoka, Madoka/Sayaka, ensemble | R
The more times she fails to save Madoka, the more desperate Homura gets...until kidnapping her and locking her in a basement until Walpurgisnacht is over stops sounding like such a crazy idea.

Rosewood
horror | Homura/Madoka, Sayaka, Junko, others | R
Scenes from a particularly toothy AU. Based on the third [community profile] girlgay weekly f/f prompt: Write a fight scene between a priest wielding a holy weapon and a vampire.

This Fragrant Skin, This Hair Like Lace
smut, angst | Madoka/Homura, Madoka/others, various | NC-17, all the warnings
A/B/O universes are generally an over-complex excuse to write "and then my OTP were overcome with ~hormones~ and had lots of rowdy possessive sex." There's no way Madoka and Homura will have it so easy.

Warm Feelings | AO3 mirror
smut | Junko, Madoka/OFC | NC-17
For a prompt at [livejournal.com profile] puellamagi_kink: Junko has a jealous rival at work, who can't challenge her directly. However, when Junko brings Madoka in one day, this woman decides that tormenting her rival's daughter - in sexy, sexy ways - is the next best thing.

Sailor Moon

Artemis Parthenos | AO3 mirror | ff.net mirror
dramedy, romance | Luna/Artemis, Artemis/Minako, Serenity I, Serenity II | PG-13
Scenes from Artemis' past life, growing up and having girl trouble. In any other era, with any other girls, this wouldn't even have been a footnote to history; but these are princesses and royal advisors, in the twilight of the Silver Millennium.

Messiah | AO3 mirror
angst | Messiah of Silence/Messiah of Light | R
Super Sailor Moon doesn't win. (A deeply creepy scene from the aftermath.)

The Sunlit Millennium
epic, drama | original characters, Sailor Galaxia, others | T

The Xyll Saga
vintage epic | original characters, Lethe and Mnemosyne | T

Sailor Moon/Various (Fake News, Madoka Magica, His Dark Materials, Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who)

Five (And Then Some) Heart Crystals The Death Busters Never Stole | AO3 mirror
hurt/comfort, comedy | Kaolinite, Eudial, Mimete, Viluy; Jon, Olivia, "Stephen"; Homura/Madoka; Lyra, Pan; Sharon, Roslin, Tory, Tigh; Four, Sarah Jane | PG
What it says on the tin. Heart crystals that Kaolinite and the Witches 5 would have gone after, if only they'd existed in the same series.

Sandman and/or Good Omens

Burnt Out Ends Of Smoky Days | AO3 mirror
vignette | Dream, Delirium, GNeil, PTerry | G
For a prompt involving Neil Gaiman meeting Dream. Even more meta than it sounds. Warnings: canon Alzheimer's; spoilers through the end of Sandman.

Motorcycle Riding & Part II | AO3 mirror
comedy/romance | Dick Turpin/Phaeton, Dream, Death, Newt/Anathema | G
The Bentley gets a lot of screentime in fic. Dick Turpin isn't unheard of. Phaeton the bike is barely mentioned. This is an attempt to fix that.

United States of Tara

Gimme Shelter
hurt/comfort, family bonding | Tara, all the alters | R
Instead of flailing around blindly when it comes to dealing with her system, Tara's trying to approach them and take steps to communication. Gimme-centric, but everyone gets their moments.

backstory | Shaggy Man, OCs | G
A backstory for the Shaggy Man. Takes place in a mining town in Colorado, starting in the 1870s.

The Gender Ninja of Oz | AO3 mirror
dramedy, romance | Ozma/Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow, Toto, Jack Pumpkinhead | PG-13
"I might try it for awhile,—just to see how it seems, you know. But if I don't like being a girl you must promise to change me into a boy again."

The Marble Monuments of Oz | AO3 mirror
fic | Dorothy/Ozma, others | PG
A somber event forces a couple of Ozians to struggle with their feelings about (im)mortality.

Patient | AO3 mirror
hurt/comfort | Ozma/Dorothy, Henry/Em, Oscar Diggs, ensemble | PG

I'm posting this comment here because it's about several of your fanfictions and I wanted to write it in one go and not split it up. Selfish me.
I've read nearly all of your Fake News and SWC stories and I feel really bad for not commenting on them until now.

Reading "All the king's horses" had scared me away a little and it took me a while to return to your stories, but I'm so very glad that I did. So now that I finally have enough time on my hands, I'll try to make up for my laziness and put all my praise in one long comment (and I really hope you like long comments, cause it's going to be just that).

I'll just start by ranting a bit about the ones I liked best:

The first story I fell in love with was "The Thing With Feathers". It's the story that really sucked me into the fandom, and probably spoiled me for many other writer's work.
The whole concept is ingenious. Mostly I can't enjoy RPF, but the way you integrated it into your story didn't give me the feeling that Jon and Stephen's real personalities were "abused" in any way. It all just fit together perfectly. The interaction of Jon and Stephen with their friend's respective parallel universe counterpart had me making all sorts of fangirly noises, and the idea of a universe, where everything they say or do on the show is real, brought a huge grin to my face x).
(I'm sorry I can't go into more detail, but I read this one even before I even read "All The Kings Horses"... >.< sorry it took me so long to comment...)

"Truthiness And Relative Dimensions In Space" is probably the most awesome and hilarious crossover I have ever read. I was a little concerned at first that I wouldn't understand it, since I've only watched Torchwood and no Doctor Who, but I had no problems whatsoever. I loved Stephen meeting Jack and Jack trying to coax Stephen out of his shell a little. Teenage Stephen on the whole was delightful to read. The best thing however has to be the Wørd. How do you come up with ideas like this? The alien mind-groupsex, a psychic alien that lives in Stephen's mind, the psychic paper, and all the snarkiness that comes with it... marvelous. I really couldn't pick a favorite scene, but from all the creations in this story, the Wørd just stole my heart <3.
The psi-moon that adapted to Stephen's mind was also utterly perfect. The many different Stephens made me literally laugh out loud. In an effort not to be too repetitive I won't elaborate on all the other instances that made me crack up, because there are just too many and I'd still be sitting here tomorrow (...the "alien stoners"... *snort*... hrm hrm....).
Aaaand I love it when your stories have a happy ending <3. The moment I saw silver-clad arms giving Teenage Stephen a cup of hot chocolate, I knew it had to be Future!Stephen and I cheered for him, as he introduced himself as Mr Stewart :). Also, beginning and ending Stephen's "journey" with peaches, was a nice touch. I liked the peach-motif, though it always leaves me with a craving for peaches that can't be satisfied D:
The Christmas special was just as good, even though I had no idea who most of the people were. Google helped me out with that ;)

"Expecting". This is one of the stories I thought I'd never read. I'm still amazed that you made mpreg work for me. But you pulled it off and again I was hooked and couldn't stop reading until I could hardly keep my eyes open.
I think it was this story which invoked a totally new appreciation for Bobby in me :)I really loved how you integrated the staff into your story. And not just Tad and Bobby, all of them. The little talk Lewis Black gave Jon was priceless xD.
Stephen actually getting more considerate and perceptive was a nice touch, too. Seeing him trying to change some of his habits, like asking if something is OK with Jon, instead of just demanding it, was great, because all in all you somehow managed not to make him seem too out of character. I was quite sorry for Stephen's wife though, after all, he kinda only did it for Jon and it was too late for her to really benefit from it.
And then the conclusion of the story. It's made of so much win I hardly know where to start. During all those delightfully slashy bits I had to think of Jon's wife and his children and that it would destroy Jon's marriage as well, should he decide to start anything with Stephen. That thought wasn't appealing to me at all. As much as I want Jon and Stephen to "get it on already", it lessens my enjoyment considerably if a family is destroyed in the process. I honestly didn't think there was a solution for this kind of problem, until you proved me wrong by introducing Charlene.

"What I mean is...well, to make a long story short, it would be a loveless sham relationship designed to conceal from the public, and occasionally myself, the fact that I'm gay."

"Really?" The stranger looked — glad? "Me too!"

"Oh!" exclaimed Stephen, and their faces broke into identical relieved grins. "That'll work perfectly, then!"

And the resulting quadrangle-relationship looks very promising indeed ^__^. Yay for happy endings!<3

I was a little hesitant to read "State of Grace", because I was afraid it would erase the warm, happy feeling "Expecting" left me with. Curiosity won out, however, and again I'm glad it did. The ending left me smiling, so all my fears were unfounded.
I'm afraid, my English-skills fail me a little when it comes to describing what this story did to me, so you'll have to put up with the slightly disconnected/incoherent(?) statements below. Sorry.
It was very intense and sad at times, in a good way.
It was also fascinating to see the different Stephens with their respective personality traits and Jon slowly figuring out that none of them was "first", but that they are all fragments. Interesting how Stephen's splitting is reflected in his show. I wonder, did you get the idea for this fic by watching Formidable Opponent?
Yeah, I can't seem to express myself properly right now. -.- That's a shame really, 'cause this fic would've deserved better, but somehow I can't find the right words. I wish I was a native speaker, it would make commenting so much easier. Ah well...

Your art, especially that which accompanied "Expecting" and "State of Grace", is excellent! I like all your illustrations, but I prefer it when you don't draw chibis, so these illustrations are among my favorites :).

In general I'm really impressed by your ability to write about any topic and make it work. Your stories really convey the feelings of the persons you write about, so much so that it is painful to read some of them. Your Transverse stories, for example. The feeling of wrongness when you're trapped in a body that you shouldn't be in, really got to me.
But you somehow manage to make even your tragic stories funny in some places without losing any credibility. And those that are supposed to be funny had me laughing until my stomach hurt.
I'm truly amazed by your ability to capture "Stephen's" (and all the other's) character so well. No matter what version of him you write, it always feels real and is most of the time absolutely hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time. So real, in fact, that I'm now thinking of you and your stories rather frequently while watching the Colbert Report :).
You've made me read and enjoy things I've never thought I could like (mpreg and gender-swap, e.g.) and kept me enthralled for many days and nights even though I should've been studying/working... I just couldn't tear myself away.
Your AUs are all well thought through and I love your take on Liberal!Stephen. It's amazing how alike he and "Stephen" are and yet how different. And again it just works so well.
Oh, and "Sweetness". I'm afraid words fail me again to express my utter love for your way of interpreting her. It's awesome, is all I can say.

A big tip of my hat to you! You're an amazing writer and I'm looking forward to seeing more of you in the future.
It won't take me so long to open my mouth the next time, I promise :)

Ahhh, long comments are the best kind :D And DW is made for 'em!

All The King's Horses is definitely not the kind of thing I write every day - which is why it's plastered with all those warnings =P But of course, if you read The Thing With Feathers first, you already knew the kind of metaphysical-yet-strangely-fluffy stuff that is probably my favorite.

You should check out Doctor Who! It is far superior to Torchwood in a great variety of ways :D And the Sarah Jane Adventures are well worth watching; less off-planet adventures than Who, more character-based stuff in general, less horrible bloody death than Torchwood.

I honestly don't remember where I got the idea of the Wørd being an alien. I think I just wanted psychic paper to react to Stephen the same way his graphics do, and the rest followed from there. And, yeah, much as I like Jon saving Stephen, it was all kinds of fun to write Stephen saving himself. Especially when there are ontological paradoxes involved =3

Expecting is all about the warm fuzzies, so I couldn't go tearing any happy relationships apart in the process. (Stephen's marriage was not a happy one, and they're healthier and happier now that they're not fighting over it, so that doesn't count.) Polyamory - be it a V, a triad, or, in this case, an almost-square - makes for a good happy ending, plus a whole slew of new relationship dynamics to explore.

State of Grace is currently in the middle of a rewrite, partly because Stephen's symptoms are wildly inconsistent in the existing version - which, in turn, is largely because I was doing research as I wrote. In the beginning I thought I would just write about Stephen having PTSD, including repressed memories and serious mood swings. The early Formidable Opponent-style scenes are very much written as "Stephen talking to himself."

But when you read books about PTSD, they often mention multiple personalities (dissociative identity disorder, or DID), as a possible extreme consequence of certain kinds of trauma. And if you grab the books next to them on the library shelf, or find the memoirs of the survivors they quote, you'll end up reading about a whole constellation of related topics, including books that get very detailed about DID. So the more I read, and the more notes I took, the more I realized that this fit even better with the "Stephen" I wanted to write. Which is why later "Formidable Opponent" scenes are clearly "one of Stephen's distinctly-characterized alters talking to another one". It all kind of flowed together, with parts of the show feeding into things I had found in research and vice versa.

As to the rest...well, in short, I'm very flattered by all the things you've appreciated :D And I'm definitely not going to stop writing any time soon - thank you for all the encouragement!
